About Us - Alpine View Motel, Kaikoura

Ken comes from a family nursery background of Rhododendrons and Camellias while Jenny has Level 4 in Tourism, Diploma in Business, Diploma in Tourism Management and managed Ashburton i-Site Visitor Information Centre for approximately 8 years before they decided to purchase Alpine View Motel.

At Alpine View Motel we recognize that sustainable tourism is an evolving process and we continue to strive to improve our environmental impact and policy. We are helping our environment in Kaikoura by developing a sustainability & environmental pledge.

We are very willing to assist you with forward bookings including accommodation, activities and the Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferry, and can provide advise on New Zealand especially the South Island. We can help with up-to-date information on road conditions, supply maps, accommodation guides and offer Golden Chain and AA Member benefits.

We hope to give each of our guests a sense that he or she is our top priority by offering a level of service that surpasses that of standard motel accommodation in Kaikoura.
